Mubarak quits leadership of ruling party: reports (by John Spence)

BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- The leadership of Egypt's ruling party including Hosni Mubarak resigned Saturday although he remains president amid anti-government protests, according to media reports. The reports cited State TV, which said Mubarak's son is also quitting the ruling party.
