SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures added to losses Thursday after a weekly report from the Energy Information Administration reported a lower-than-expected decline in supplies. Natural gas for April delivery (nhj11) retreated 12 cents, or 3%, to $3.81 per million British thermal units; it traded at $3.86 per million Btus moments before the data release. The EIA reported a decline of 71 billion cubic feet for natural gas in storages in the week ended March 4. Analysts polled by Platts had expected a decline between 78 and 82 bcf.
