Doc, brightness is the one thing I noticed. Could not tell at all that it was to appear 14% bigger, but caught it in the clear sky and it was a little bit hard on the eyes. Sometimes you get those nights where the ozone level is high and the moon appears so big it looks like something out of a science fiction movie. Last night looked like the average full moon to me. Guess a volcano started to smoke in Indonesia yesterday, but probably had nothing to do with the supermoon.
