SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures turned higher on Thursday after a smaller-than-expected increase in supplies. Natural gas for May delivery (ngk11) added 5 cents, or 1.2%, to $4.19 per million British thermal units. It had traded at $4.07 before. The Energy Information Administration reported an increase in supplies by 28 billion cubic feet in the week ended April 8. Analysts polled by Platts had expected an addition of 31 billion to 35 billion cubic feet.
