Thanks Trades for the chart. Does smell a little like 1980. When I was about 16 I had a friend sell me a roll of junk mercury dimes for $8.00. Guess that was around 1971 or so. We use to buy junk coins advertised in the back of commic books and some coin magazines. In 1980 that junk roll of dimes was worth probably about $220 and could of paid for one quarter at the college I was going to. We were on quarters not sumesters. My friend at the time told me he actually felt like he ripped me off at the time by selling it to me for 8.00. By the end of 1981 it was worth about $8.00 again. Guess what? I still have that damn roll of junk mecury dimes. Seems to have some sedimental value back to when I was 16. Thanks again for the chart and hope you enjoy the Easter weekend.
