Hi Wayne,

Advertised speeds were in the 40 to 50 knot range. This boat was light, no 50cal. no Torpedos/tubes so I really don't know exact speed. Was pleanty fast to water ski, but I wouldn't want to have to deal with the wake on a 75 ft. rope !!

We used to maintain the Captain Starn's "Miss Atlantic City Speed boat" which was "fast" but I'm not sure if "faster". I have lost track of "advertised speeds" but 50 knots is "really quick" on the water !!!

I have found and attached a photo of a Captain Starn's tourist sailboat. I used to be hauled "up the mast in a boatswains chair", about 110 ft. to change the American Flag !!
