Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 1 to 7 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CDT

Corn: A rumor that China would buy more U.S. corn sparked a solid rally in old-crop corn in comparison to weaker trade in a broad range of commodities Wednesday.

Soybeans: As noncommercial traders continue to reallocate their positions, bean contracts remain on the defensive posting another set of double-digit losses.

Wheat: Despite less than ideal conditions across many parts of the globe for wheat, all three exchanges continue to come under pressure from noncommercial long-liquidation.

Live Cattle: It was a quiet day in cattle with contracts settling mixed as both sides of the market seemed to step to the sideline after sharp losses the past two sessions.

Cotton: As was the case with most commodities, cotton struggled on selling from both sides of the market with old-crop contracts posting the largest losses..
