Is an Intel M processor 1.86 GHZ with I Gb memory, Win xp sp3 a little over 4 years old.

I rarely have a problem if your are asking relative to that java.exe comment maxing out on cpu cycles.

It is relatively new happening (this week) and is "sporadic" lasting a minute or two then not again for hours.

Appreciate the thoughts.

It is a Sony Lap top with nothing else running on it when trading, save an external monitor with a "second" cloned chart on the laptop display.

I haven't noticed any "hiccups" with the hard drive Is about 100Gb and I haven't run a disk check on it in a long time. Maybe it is time to do that. Drive not fragmented either.

Don't use that machine for anything else beyond support of the Ox trading platform.
