I can trade for a few ticks, or mega moves. It all depends on the time frame I use to make my entry on.

I CHOOSE to limit myself to a few ticks, because I have a philosophy that we cannot know what the future holds, nor can we predict that future. I'd rather jump on a move while it's going, and get out so I am not in the market at night only to find in the morning something really bad happened. I don't like to be in the market, unless I can watch it live.

My method works just as well for risk takers who want to hang on for long term trends as it does on the 3 minute chart I focus on.
