Re: Is Ann Barnhardt right? Is Futures trading ove

Well, that is a concern of mine as well. My IB clears through the Lynn Group. Now, suppose *I* had the other side of that Sugar contract that could not be closed. Does that effect me? or can i close that trade with Alaron (or whoever)?

The other thing, one has to ask, what was Corzines motivation to commit such an off the charts illegal act, that he has NO HOPE of getting away with? I mean, he didn't get the 1.2 Billion that he stole. he put that money into the losses with the firm. Was he intentionally trying to take out MF Global, and Futures trading as a whole? I mean, who would do such a Stupid thing? Unless of course, he is actually part of a larger conspiracy and knew he was safe from prosecution from the start.

The only other thing is that ge some how got his position through some sort of political means, but never had any actual experience in our industry. As anyone knows, experience in any other industry simply does not transfer oer to Futures and Commodities. You have to be born and bred here, and have clawed your way up from the bottom to have any chance of anything but profound crash and burn failure....and I have not seen anything in his history that suggests he was anything other than a common banker.
