The long Corn/Short Wheat May spread trade continues to work well but is approaching resistance at previous high points. I expect this area to be cleared but the market doesn't care what I expect so watch for a breakout or failure at this resistance area. Seasonal trend charts in all time frames show Corn strong in the 1st 1/4 of the year basically with Wheat weak in this time frame. With the spread trades it doesn't matter about price direction only that the long postion outperforms the short position.
