I don't know the price difference between Corn and Wheat over the years as I never really cared much for the Grains or had anything to do with them. But here is a long term chart going back to the mid 70's that shows the long term relationship they've had. I can see this spread trade is not only at a short term resistance area, but it is also at a very long term resistance area as well. The dotted horizontal lines show the basic boundaries these two grains have had for decades. Probably not a good time to be getting long this spread trade now regardless of the latest stories. The two can be swing traded from one point to the next at best but an exit strategy is always critical to have in place.
