Re: Corn Weekly Cycle
In Response To: Re: Corn Weekly Cycle ()

Hi all, Believe this - we are still in a drought in the midwest. I am in Northern IL and at my home farm I am down 29 inches of precip in the last two years. After a 2 inch rain last week, the ground has a one inch crevaces - we are already bone dry. I know we will not be better than 153 bpa average nation wide regardless of what the USDA puts out. I also travel the midwest consistently - the quick start to the crop is now greatly affected by the lack of moisture. On the radar it looks like rain is prevalent, but not much is making to the ground. Will report more soon, as I am going to Michigan, Indiana, and to Central IL over the next five days. OUT
