I used to follow COT. Even went so far as to very closely watch the markets based upon such. Like .... when will it turn. I was even stupid enough to trade off of COT. Actually, two or three decades ago, things seemed to kind of work.

However, when so many trades became off-ex, the COT seemed to not matter. Took me a few (more than two) years to figure that out.

COT, although I still every few months check it out ... does not seem to provide the same insight that it used to.
