I can't find all the information I had collected and saved on the computer. I may have deleted it when the other brother laid claim to it. I had found a list of serial numbers and I even wrote to a guy at the LC Smith collectors association to get his best guess as to price.

I'll dig it out of the safe tomorrow and get the serial number off from it.

I hate letting this brother have it. He's not that much into guns and his kid knows nothing. One time this brother-in-law came by with four guns in tow...needing to sell them off for bucks. I didn't want or need them so I gave him 100 a piece for them. I fear that at some point the Elsy might meet the same fate. That's OK by me I guess cause I would probably sell it myself and come up with something more modern. When B-in-law sold me the four guns, I didn't even know what one of them was. A .357 mag automatic pistol. Looked like a 1911. Turned out to be a Coonan. I had no idea of the value until I started looking it up. I sold that thing for $1,100.00 and bought another AR-15. Score! Dumbass.

Another one I bought from him is a .22 Beretta pistol....a Cheetah, I think it's called. He bought it for his wife and may have run 50 rounds through it. Immaculate, it is. Value somewhere between 600 and 800 as best I can tell. Score! Dumbass.

The other was a nylon 66 .22 rifle. I forgot what it was worth but something of a collector piece. 300 to 500, I think. Score! Dumbass.

One I got out of the dead brothers house was a old pump .22 rifle. Looks like a carnival gun. Forgot exactly what it was, would have to look but the value on it may run anywhere between 1000 and 1800. This bro-in-law will never know about that. It's mine. Score! Dumbass.

Would I do that to my bro-in-law. Hell yea. He has no appreciation for the guns.
