I do not believe that there is a character limit .. post to your heart's content.
I look at insurance as something that protects me against catastrophic loss(es). With the exception of having my spine sliced and diced, in 2007, I have never made a claim on a health insurance product.
I own a number of houses. I have insurance, with relatively high deductibles, and VERY high liability coverage. I have never made a claim and I hope that I never do.
The same could be said for my automobile coverage .. Not one "at-fault" claim .. but I carry large enough liability coverage to then fall under my umbrella liability coverage.
I would not carry any insurance .. except I'm a fraidy-cat .. that always worries about things that probably will never happen.
As far as old coots and medical care ... The only relation that they have to today's ACA, is the 720 (plus) BILLION that the ACA TAKES from Medicare over a decade ...
