The only way to beat 'em is to join 'em, LUAB. I am one of the ones ObamaCare tried to ensnare. Did not buy insurance for 15 years because I got tired of rising rates and never filing any claims. I paid cash at time of service and received 40% discount for doing so (Drs. love patients like me). Gave up term life, too. Probably saved about $150k in premiums. Now, I am over 65 and I got here my way. I was, however, prepared to die if I got hit by the truck, so, my way is not the way for sissies.

I don't recommend this for most folks. But, my kids were in college and I had no spouse to worry about, so it made sense to me. and it worked out, for me.
