Yea...when I let the beans rest overnight I pour everything into a stainless pot cause if you stick them in the fridge overnight while in the cast iron pot the beans pick up a little too much of a "metal" taste. In the morning for the couple more hour cook before taking them to the eat place it's back into the cast iron they go. I think the iron puts a nice taste to the beans.

I love my dutch oven(not porcelain coated) which we mostly use when we are camping. There's no end to what you can make in a dutch oven.

One of the best pieces I have is a three(or so) inch tall chicken frying skillet with lid. It was given to me and I was told it was a chicken frying skillet...whatever it is supposed to be it works great for frying chicken. Also works great as a chili cooking devise.
