Yes...technology has saved my life three times now concerning these damned polyps. Any one of the three times I have had these damned things would have killed me 100 years ago. Not so sure if this occurrence wouldn't have taken me out as few as 30 years ago.

I did pick up one of the most definitive descriptions of what the hell causes them. Before today I was always told...we think they are allergy related. Today it was described to me that the cause of them is a piece of something that you happen to be allergic to will lodge itself in the sinus membrane and for some reason can not be discharged. The sinus membrane will grow around it and get infected...swell up and turn into a polyp.
