I agree with some of what U noticed.

However, I customize FB for my needs , so to speak. Family, relatives and friends I grew up with in Singapore are my number one reason I have a FB acct,

followed by Groups of mutual interests shared by other people- A Buckethead fan group, Alaska group, and more.

Makes it a whole lotta fun. Actually meeting up with other Buckethead fans at a live gig, then continuing that connection online, it's fun.

So, say I travel to Australia or Argentina , etc.. I can visit them and get the local 'down home' feel of it rather than the "tourist" guided tour stuff.

FB can be fun, use it for what U want it for. :)
