Much to his disbelief and dismayment(I made that word up for the occasion) the world continues without missing a beat. No stumbles or skips, or flutters, no CPR necessary to restart the universe. The Senate continues un-amiss. His blessed godvernment moves as it does with no more notice than if the town drunk had passed.

Such an ego...so little relevance. So few will care.
