That was strange...

Electricity went out a few weeks ago due to lightening. Since then the internet has been on the blink. It would drop off multiple time a day and had progressed until this weekend it was 80% off 20% on...the telephone would even go away this weekend. I did all the unplug stuff for 10 seconds and then plug back in to reset everything. Nothing improved.

Called the phone provider who provides everything...phone, internet, TV and let them know something was amiss. A couple of hours later, we were watching some recorded football and Bam...out go the lights. Had an electrical failure...lasted about half a minute and came back on.

Everything reboots. Low and behold the internet comes back on and has functioned flawlessly since. Phones back.

It's almost as if the phone company called the electric company and asked the electric company to pop my house so as to reset everything. I wonder if they cooperate one with the other like that? Or was that just a coincidence? Pretty big one if it was.

That was strange...
