Sears Hires Advisers to Prepare Bankruptcy Filing *LINK*

All good things must come to an end, I guess. Some of my best memories, as a kid and young man, was going to the Sears store. Whenever, mom or dad finished with whatever I was taken there for...school clothes shopping...whatever...I always would run off and go to the toy store section of Sears...yes, that's right...the toy store. At the toy store they had things like complete sets of Craftsman mechanics and wood working tools. All those beautiful shiny wrenches, ratchets, sockets, screw drivers...and the big red tool boxes with which to store them in perfect order. Circular saws, radial arm saws and all the accouterments, air compressors, chainsaws...they had it all at the toy store.

I wanted to be buried in the toy store when I died.

I'll miss the toy store.
