An amazing testament to Capitalism... *LINK*

"TSA estimates record 46 million holiday fliers..."

"That's an increase of about 126,000 passengers a day," said Nick Calio, CEO of the trade group Airlines for America.
With a daily average of more than 2.5 million people flying, those with the very most holiday spirit may enjoy travel on Thursday, Friday and Dec. 26, which figure to be the busiest days during the holiday period. (The lightest travel days are Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Jan. 5.)

Think about that.

2.5 million people per day fly around in the sky...in a day!

Back in my day, before the advent of the 23 trillion dollar debt, a million was a big number. Big, really big. It's still a big number...1000...1000 dollar bills. A thousand, thousands. 2.5 million is 2,500, 1000's of something. If each plane held 250 people that would be 10,000 planes running around in three dimensions above us with a track record of safety that is simply amazing. And...a get there speed that is nothing less than a miracle.

Only capitalism and the prospects of profit could build that.
