If you get dementia or something and have to go into LT rest home for 10 or 15 years, it can soak up all of your NW and then it's on to Medcaid. But, in 29 states, your children can be sued for any funds paid by Medicaid. That's why I will have to move to SC if anything goes wrong. Either that or have an accident. No way will I ever be a burden. I have paid in for others most of my life and they can return the favor.
