No. As earlier referenced, it is W-2 employees .. NOT 1099. Although, as long as the W-2 employees are government employees, or work for a not-for-profit, they can still take mileage. AGAIN .. as stated more than once ... W-2 employees within the private sector .... NOT 1099 independent contractors. Their mileage is take on Schedule C, as it always has been.
