If Occasional-Cortex actually believed her little green new deal, she would NEVER touch her garbage disposal. She would never throw out any degradable garbage, such as food scraps. She would compost. She featured her little garden, and how things were actually growing out of soil ... She has a use for her degradable refuse. Do something good for the environment ....But, of course not ... that might involve getting slightly dirty and some work. No need to even throw out paper .. shred it and it makes a decent biodegradable bottom layer mulch.

The niece of a good friend of mine ... She and her worthless husband are radical Left Wing-Nut Regressives ....Big time "environmentalists". One time, at a Labor Day event, I noticed that they were using disposable diapers. I informed them that, when our children were bambinos, we used cloth .... And, if they gave ANY thought to the environment, they would stop being such hypocrites and use cloth diapers. That didn't go over well.

If you want to set your AC on "swinging meat" in the summer ... and your furnace on "cremate" in the winter ... GREAT .... just don't tell me how the government needs to fight pollution more .... Regulate, regulate, regulate ... Just not me!
