Hi Hugo,

Good post.

As measured by the value of Silver and Gold the DJIA shows a steady decline from
the Silver APR 01 high to the recent Jan 2008 low point.

Like you, I'm inclined to think we're due for some type of correction, at the very least a turn sideways.

Gold is very tough to eat, very heavy to carry around, and now very expensive.

When faced with the decision of gold, gas or food ... most would select food.
( OTH, BH would, no doubt, select a very good scotch. (single malt, of course) )
