HI DJ, how've you been?

Raising margins on crude oil will drive the small speculators out of the market. It seems to me, small speculators are usually sellers in bull markets.

If they drive the small speculators out, who will then be left over to buy and sell oil contracts?

Index funds.... they have so much money, they could care less what the margin requirements are. They would keep on buying.

Oil companies.... don't they thrive on oil prices going through the roof? I suspect that the oil companies is deeply involved in (legally) manipulating futures prices higher.
