Well today the SPX had a major breakout over the previous bull market high being the May/11 high. Not a big increase in volume but a big spike above the old high. Now the BIG acid test is 'staying above' the breakout point. Markets tend to run up briefly after breaking out and then pullback to test the breakout point.
