The way that the video was set up and narrated, you'd think he was on a safari to take out cape buffalo. By the louder sound, similar to a .22 rim fire short ... I believe may have been due to him using alloy, as opposed to lead, pellets. Most of the PCP rifles, with alloy, break the sound barrier. Even most of the break barrel single shots will as well. I've taken many the coon with a break barrel. Normally, I use a .22, but I've taken 'em with .177. Thought I'd try some alloys ... one of my .22 is deadly silent when lead is used. But, with the alloy ... dayumm ... it sounded like a fire fight .... BOOM!
